A stimulus presentation by Jan Huyton (Cardiff Metropolitan University) followed by a workshop addressing related questions of usefulness, style, and outcomes for the governing of schools and colleges.

Developing the Role of the Clerk to the Governing Body

Tom Fellows, research manager at National Governance Association, will deliver a short presentation on an ongoing research project looking at the pay of clerk to governors. This will be followed by a discussion around the potential issues, unforeseen consequences and opportunities surrounding this project.
