Leadership Preparation and Development RIG Meeting

Date: 16th March 2017
Time: 11:00am
Venue: University of Warwick

The Leadership Preparation and Development Research Interest Group (RIG) was established in May 2015, to establish a research cluster for those of us interested in how educational leaders are prepared and developed for their new roles. Previous sessions have included a keynote from Professor Tony Bush on the changing educational landscape for leaders in schools; how systems leadership is playing out in different areas; the roles of SLEs; global perspectives and so on.

For our next meeting we are returning to our micro theme of internal school LPD cultures, with a talk by Paul Irvine, on middle leadership preparation, from his now submitted EdD at JMU, Liverpool.

If you would like to put yourself forward for future RIG talks at the meso or macro levels, or have any other RIG ideas, please contact the RIG Convener Deb Outhwaite (D.Outhwaite@warwick.ac.uk). We look forward to seeing you in March.

Registration for this event is free.
