Prof. Keri Facer
Keri Facer is Professor of Educational and Social Futures at the University of Bristol, Graduate School of Education. She leads the Learning Lives research theme, working closely with colleagues on rethinking the relationship between formal education institutions (schools and universities) and wider society, in particular in relation to emerging environmental, social and technological challenges. Keri was Research Director at Futurelab from 2002-2008, Professor of Education at Manchester Met from 2008-2012. In these roles she led over 30 R&D projects working with cutting edge technologies, as well as large scale curriculum reform programmes. Between 2007-2009 Keri led the Beyond Current Horizons strategic foresight project for the Department for Children Schools and Families. Keri’s most recent publication is Learning Futures: Education, Technology and Social Change (Routledge). She has worked with organisations including the BBC, RSA, Baltic Arts Centre, Becta, TDA, Electronic Arts, Microsoft as well as with Local Authorities and heads groups across the UK to develop new roles for education institutions in the context of social, environmental and technological change.
Mervyn Wilson is Chief Executive of the Co-operative College, Manchester and has worked in the co-operative sector for over thirty years, primarily in the field of member education, co-operative identity and governance. He has worked with co-operatives throughout the world and led the development of co-operative trust schools and their national network. His work to secure the co-operative movement's heritage and use it as a learning resource included the development of the National Co-operative Archive and the establishment of the Co-operative Heritage Trust.
Prof. Jorunn Møller
Jorunn Møller is Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Oslo and has been involved in a range of research projects on educational leadership and policy change. She also participates in international research networks in the field of school leadership. At present she is engaged in a five years’ project, which aims at analyzing the role of administration and institutions in the implementation of the current educational reform in Norway - (the FIRE project). She is also involved in the International Successful School Principal Project (ISSPP).
