How to research critical conversations in educational leadership?

This jointly organised BERA and BELMAS event creates a space for leadership stories to be told and leadership issues to be raised, linked to accounts of different methodological approaches used to examine such accounts. Presenters are invited to offer testimony yet to be researched as well as accounts of current research. We hope to include discussion of autoethnography, narrative, case study, survey and mixed methods approaches to stimulate 'critical conversations' about such issues as: gender and leadership, race and leadership, pupil leadership, teacher leadership and academic leadership in school-university partnerships.

Venue: University of Newcastle
Date: Tuesday 26th April 2016
Timings: 9.30am-3.30pm
Cost for BELMAS members: £5
