Congratulations to EMAL!

EMAL has achieved an outstanding milestone with an astonishing increase in the journal’s Impact Factor in the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) for Education and Educational Research.  The Impact Factor has shot up from 2.448 in 2019 to 4.208 in 2020.  EMAL is now ranked 37th out of 264 journals.  This is tremendous news and a tribute to the Editor and editorial board.   The Impact Factor is calculated as a ratio of the number of citations in 2020 to the items published in 2018 – 2019 and the number of citable items in 2018 – 2019.

EMAL has also moved up the rankings in the Academic Journal Guide (ABS List) produced by the Chartered Association of Business Schools in their 2021 update.  The Guide outlines the range, subject matter and relative quality of journals in which business and management academics publish their research.

Congratulations to the Editor and the editorial board for their achievement.
