Register for the BELMAS Annual Conference 2022!

Taking place at The Hilton Liverpool on the Friday 8th – Sunday 10th July, the conference, entitled ‘Leadership for Global Citizenship’, will be a very special, blended programme from both BELMAS and the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM).

Our keynotes this year will be delivered by BELMAS President and EMAL Editor-in Chief, Tony Bush, and New Zealand Kaupapa Māori and Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Māori and education, Dr Mere Berryman.

Delegates attending the conference will enjoy:

  • A comprehensive choice of papers from authors, presented in a variety of formats
  • The opportunity to meet the editors of our flagship journals, EMAL and MiE
  • Opportunities to meet, engage and share knowledge with leading figures in the educational leadership field
  • Networking opportunities with fellow BELMAS members from across the globe
  • A high standard of comfort in accommodation, good food and complimentary refreshments throughout each day
  • A gala dinner on the evening of Saturday 9th July
  • A chance to visit one of the UK’s most iconic settings, home of the Tate Liverpool, the International Slave Museum, Merseyside Maritime Museum, Liverpool FC, Everton FC, and, of course, The Beatles.

For those who can’t attend the conference in person, we will be offering access to some of the programme highlights through our virtual platform. This will include livestreaming of the two keynote addresses and all other livestreamed events, detailed in the conference programme.
