CASEA-CCEAM Conference 6 to 10 June 2014

Next year both conferences are being held at the same time in a beautiful, and little visited part of Canada, New Brunswick, which is easy to reach from the UK, via Toronto, Montreal or Halifax. www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca

I was a summer scholar there two years ago, and would be happy to give details of the area. The conference will be held on the campus of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, from June 6 to 10, 2014.
On June 6, there will be school visits and on June 10, the conference will be offering cultural excursions. The formal conference will begin on Friday evening, June 6, with an opening ceremony, with paper presentations on June 7, 8, and 9.

I am hoping that BELMAS will have a slot at the conference, as it usually does at CASEA. Please contact me directly if you have an interest in this, but I will also be sending out a specific call when arrangements have been finalised.

The website for the 2014 CCEAM conference is available here www.cceam2014.com Please take note in particular of the Call for Papers and the October deadline for proposal submissions. The organisers are accepting proposals for several types of sessions to accommodate different types of presentations for our conference. Please share this website information with other colleagues whom you know to have an interest in educational administration and leadership.

The organisers hope to post registration and accommodation information on the website in the near future. They will be offering accommodation on the University of New Brunswick campus along with conference rates at two local hotels. BELMAS is a member of CCEAM, and I hope that many of you will participate in the conference and encourage your colleagues to do so as well.

For those making flight plans, Fredericton International Airport (YFC) can be reached by connecting through Toronto (YYZ), Montreal (YUL), or Halifax (YHZ).
