CEPALs 2 day Meeting - University of Nottingham

5th/6th June - 2 day meeting, University of Nottingham.

The purpose of our meeting will be to share details of our current work, and to make progress on a CEPALS research project.  This will provide all members with an opportunity to be involved in a collaborative research project, looking at the work and lives of school leaders at a time of rapid neoliberal restructuring.  The aim of the two day meeting is to make significant progress in developing and launching the project. (More details to follow).

The meeting will commence at lunch time on the 5th, and end after lunch on the 6th.  We will be meeting on the main University Park campus at Nottingham and overnight accommodation has been secured (subject to availability) at the Orchard Hotel, which is part of the East Midlands Conference Centre on University Park.

Here is a link to the Orchard Hotel website. But please making your booking using this email - emccreservations@deverevenues.co.uk.  Please quote 'BELMAS Group' and my name, Howard Stevenson (which does not make me liable for your bill please note!).

We have secured a special rate at the hotel - which is £67 pppn incl breakfast.

The CEPALS RIG has a limited budget for this event - we hope to meet the cost of lunches on both days.  We also will subsidise overnight accommodation for PGR students wishing to attend.  The subsidy will depend on the numbers who want to take up this offer, but we are hopeful of meeting most of the cost of accommodation where requested.

Travel and an evening meal on the 5th are not included - dinner will be at local, modestly priced restaurant.

Please do the following if you wish to attend -

a) register your attendance with the BELMAS office (info@belmas.org.uk)

b) make your own booking at the hotel if required (as per instructions above)

We very much look forward to seeing you.

Best wishes
