Privatisation and Corporatisation in Education: Engaging with the Field

The next Critical Education Policy and Leadership Studies (CEPaLs) RIG meeting will take place on Friday 7th June. The discussion will be around Privatisation and Corporatisation in Education: Engaging with the Field. 

The RIG convenors are looking for up to six speakers to attend the event and give ten-minute presentations, followed by a discussion with the group. If you would like to present, please email with a title and 100-200 word abstract by Friday 24th May. . 

Registration is free and there will be a complimentary lunch provided (please give dietary requirements when registering). 

In addition, two bursaries in the form of travel expenses will be available to selected doctoral students. If you wish to nominate yourself for the award, please include the following when registering for the event: 

  • A 300-500 word statement of how this event will benefit your research
  • A statement of how your doctorate is funded (e.g. research council/self-funded)"
