Why vote for me?

I am a committed educator, and work with school leaders, future leaders, and colleagues in further education as well as higher education to develop leadership across the education sector. As a BELMAS member, and RIG Convenor, I work in collaboration with a wide range of colleagues to continue to develop leadership across education, as well as develop our understanding of leadership and governance through research. By continuing to develop our understanding of leadership across the different dimensions will enable us to help others to develop agency to make a positive impact. BELMAS, over the years provided me with a wide range of opportunities to work with and support others on their journeys. Its rich and vibrant community provides colleagues at every stage on their leadership and academic journeys with the necessary support to move forward. I would like to continue to contribute through the BELMAS council in a similar way, to enable others to enjoy the excellent opportunities and support BELMAS offers all its members. I feel that my experience as a RIG convenor, as well as in a wide range of roles across the sector, will enable me to contribute to the work of BELMAS and its Council, in a meaningful, strategic and supportive way, to enable the organisation to continue with its work, providing excellent opportunities to its members.
