We invite you to the next event from the Gender and Educational Leadership Research Interest Group, which will take place in person at University College London, in collaboration with the Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES) at UCL.

The event, entitled ‘Education and Society: Challenges, Opportunities, and the Drive for Inclusion’, will focus on the following symposium abstract:

‘This international symposium brings together scholars from diverse fields to explore key issues in education, culture, and career development, with a special focus on the challenges faced by underrepresented populations in higher education. The drive for inclusion is both essential and complex, requiring thoughtful policies and targeted interventions.

Speakers will examine the lived experiences of diverse communities, the impact of historical narratives on society, and the role of technology in shaping the future of learning and work. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, we will gain insights into policies and support systems that enable success while identifying areas that require further attention.

This symposium aims to foster new perspectives on how education, history, and technological change intersect, shaping opportunities for individuals and communities in an evolving world.’

We hope you can join us.

Please note, this event is free to both BELMAS members and non-members.

Registration will close at midnight (UK) on Tuesday 18th February 2025.
