We welcome you to a meeting from the Governance and Governing Research Interest Group, ‘Democratising Educational Governance – Book Proposal Meeting and Workshop’.
The Governance and Governing RIG is soon to invite abstracts of 300–500 words for an edited book proposal; the working title of which is ‘Democratising Educational Governance’.
The book will be part of an exciting series of publications from BELMAS Research Interest Groups and is in partnership with Myers Educational Publishing. This publication will showcase innovative thinking, practitioner insight, and research that advances the understanding of educational governance across diverse contexts.
We are particularly interested in work exploring:
We will welcome contributions from researchers, school leaders, coordinators, and practitioners working within any of the BELMAS Research Interest Groups. Submissions that connect research and practice, as well as contributions from emerging scholars and practitioner voices, are especially encouraged.
We warmly welcome you to this meeting and workshop to discuss the book proposal, share ideas and register an intention to submit an abstract for publication.
There will be time for discussion, networking and for updates from colleagues who are currently engaged in research.

Please note, this event is free to BELMAS members and £5.00 for non-members. To ensure you receive your free ticket, please log in on the BELMAS website before booking.
If you pay the non-member fee to attend and then become a BELMAS Member within a month of the event taking place, please let us know and we will refund the £5 fee.
