We invite you to the next in a series of online ‘Lunchtime Leadership’ events from the Leadership in Early Years Education Research Interest Group (RIG), entitled ‘Lunchtime Leadership: A Conversation with Simon Taylor’.

During the event, we will be talking to Simon Taylor, author of the recently published book’ Creativity in the Early Years: Engaging Children Aged 0-5′.

We are looking forward to welcoming Simon and to hear his thoughts on how leaders can foster, manage and sustain a culture of creativity in early years settings.

Simon has been invited by the RIG’s Co Convenors, Dr Madeleine Findon (University of Worcester) and Dr Mona Sakr (University of Middlesex) and will be presenting for the first 20 minutes, followed by an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

This event is aimed at anyone with an interest in Leadership matters in early years education, whether practitioner, academic or student.

 


About the Speaker

Simon is currently an academic in the Department for Education and Inclusion at the University of Worcester. He has previously worked in the arts and cultural sector for many years, as well as a range of educational settings including Special schools, Children’s Centres, Prison Education and FE colleges.
