We invite you to a joint online event from both the Leadership Preparation and Development and the Structural Reform Research Interest Groups (RIGs), which will offer a presentation of the Global Education Monitoring Report for 2024, focusing on leadership.

The RIG Convenors have invited Anna Christina D’Addio from Unesco (Chief Thematic Section Global Education Monitoring Report – UNESCO) to give a presentation to the group.

Anna is responsible for the chapters on ‘roles and standards’ and ‘selection and development’ in the Global Education Monitoring Report for 2024, focused on leadership. The Report will be launched in Brazil at the end of October 2024, and several researchers worldwide have been involved (including BELMAS President and EMAL Editor-In-Chief, Professor Tony Bush).

LPD RIG Convenor, Susanne Sahlin, will be chairing the session, and Professor Tony Bush will be the discussant.

Please note, this event is free to BELMAS members and £5.00 for non-members. To ensure you receive your free ticket, please log in on the BELMAS website before booking. 

If you pay the non-member fee to attend and then become a BELMAS Member within a month of the event taking place, please let us know and we will refund the £5 fee.  

Registration will close at midnight (UK) on Tuesday 25th February 2025.
