Member Hardship Policy

This policy is to support any BELMAS member who are undergoing financial or personal difficulties with one year’s free membership, which would otherwise prevent them from renewing their membership. It underpins BELMAS value of Social Justice and demonstrates its commitment to being a member-led organisation.

To be considered for one-year free membership you must meet at least one of the criteria listed in the Member Hardship Policy which can be found on the BELMAS website.

Once you have submitted a form, the application will be passed to the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Committee who will notify you of their decision.

There is space on this for evidence; while it is not compulsory, any evidence of hardship provided will better support your application.
