LISTEN: Talking Research Podcast from the Gov RIG

Back to News

Listen to a new Talking Research Podcast from the Governance and Governing Research Interest Group.

In this episode, RIG Co-convenor, Rosie Hoyle, speaks to Dr Tracey Price. Here, Rosie explains more…

‘This is the first of what I hope will be a series of podcasts taking the form of conversations between me and colleagues in our small community of practice all of whom are in the process of, or have just completed, postgraduate research into governance and governing.

My name is Rosie Hoyle and I am studying for a PhD (Professional) Education in the School of Education at the University of Lincoln. I’m a long-term school governor, and past charity trustee and my research interest is in the Chair/Executive Leader relationship.

This first podcast in the series is my recent conversation with Dr Tracey Price who has just completed her studies at Anglia Ruskin University. Tracey is also a long-term school governor and chair of a local governing board within a MAT. The subject of her EdD thesis is Student voice and the role of school governors: An exploration based on participatory research principles.’

You can listen to the podcast episode below.

A sincere thanks to our guest, Dr Tracey Price, to Rosie Hoyle for hosting, and to the Governance and Governing RIG Convenors for producing this podcast series.
