RIG Sessions at the 2026 BELMAS Conference

A number of the BELMAS Research Interest Groups will be hosting sessions at the 2026 BELMAS Conference in July and welcome you to join them. Please note, some of these will be hosted both in person and online. See below for details.

The RIG sessions are as follows:


LEADERSHIP, PREPARATION AND DEVELOPMENT RIG

Room: Princes Suite

We invite you to the conference session from the LPD RIG when we will hear from Dr Tegwen Ellis, Former Chief Executive of the National Academy for Educational Leadership, Wales, on the Leadership, Preparation and Development of Welsh school leaders, and from Dr Paul Armstrong, Editor-In-Chief of BELMAS Journal, Management in Education.

SOCIAL THEORY IN THE FIELD OF ELMA RIG

The Social Theory in the Field of ELMA RIG is delighted to invite you to its launch, introducing the RIG’s aims, speakers, and the agenda for the following year’s events. We will hear from the RIG’s Co-Convenors who will discuss their interests in Social Theory and its role in their research, and invite attendees to participate in RIG activities.
