The Emergent Researcher RIG held an online event on Friday 28th June 2024, when the group was joined by Robert Hannan, who discussed his research journey and how this has impacted his practice, alongside how his practice has influenced his research.

Robert Hannan is an emergent researcher focusing on the area of diversity in educational leadership promotional practices. He has published in the area of promotional practices and supervises emergent researchers at master’s level in their research on educational leadership. Additionally, Robert is an experienced teacher and school leader at post-primary school level having worked both in London and Qatar where he is currently head of faculty for digital and creative arts.
