The Leadership, Preparation and Development Research Interest Group and Structural Reform Research Interest Group held a joint event on Thursday 27th February 2025.
During the event, Anna Christina D’Addio from Unesco (Chief Thematic Section Global Education Monitoring Report – UNESCO) gave a presentation to the group on the Global Education Monitoring Report for 2024, focusing on leadership.
Anna is responsible for the chapters on ‘roles and standards’ and ‘selection and development’ in the Global Education Monitoring Report for 2024. The Report was launched in Brazil at the end of October 2024, and several researchers worldwide were involved (including BELMAS President and EMAL Editor-In-Chief, Professor Tony Bush).
LPD RIG Convenor, Susanne Sahlin, chaired the session, and Professor Tony Bush was the discussant.
