On Monday 20th October, as part of our 2025 ECR Month line-up, the Post-16 Education Leadership and Management RIG hosted ‘What Can Higher Education Leadership Learn from the Further Education Sector?’.
The event was divided into two parts:
Part One
Dr Steve Lambert, Associate Professor in Educational Leadership at the University of Chester, discussed the titular topic, one that was of interest to both ECRs and those with more established backgrounds.
Part Two
Following the the keynote talk, there was an open forum to discuss the future of the Post-16 Education Leadership and Management RIG, delving into what members would like from the RIG and how they can get more involved and engaged.
